Elves

Elves working at the north pole
Sitting on tiny little chairs
Busy as bees
Smiling and Showing their wide and white teeth
Making toys for all the kids that care
If you're bad you'll get a lump of coal
If you're good you'll get a bear with a bow
Little girls want dolls
Little boys want cars
Someday soon their wants will change like old clothes
For the smiles of others
But for now soccer balls and puppy dogs
Will fill their hearts with glee.
